After the eleven family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered."

T-this is an actual character for Umineko EP04!?
I thought it was just some cheap Photoshopped character from 2chan... but some recent Pixiv fanart is proving me wrong.

I really hope I'm being trolled...

Anybody getting impatient with waiting for those scanlations of Umineko no Naku Koro ni? Well that's because I've finally figured out that FUCKING AROUND WITH LEVELS & CONTRAST =/= CLEANING MANGA PAGES. So I've decided to re-do the first 3 chapters that Sea Cat Scans have already scanlated for the sake of better cleaning. |D

And here's what I mean by better cleaning.

I'm going to be working on all 7 chapters (plus Chapter 1 of Episode 2) for the next two weeks or so (cleaning one page can take 30 min ~ 2 hours so entire chapters will take days) and hopefully I'll be done by then. When I was editing chapters 145 - 152, Tierra was my favorite character... but after this chapter, Chii-brat has become the new favorite. *A* Though none of them can top Higuchi. Unless Chii can prove me wrong in the next few chapters. ♥

So instead of doing homework this weekend I decided to scanlate the 8 latest chapters of Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Translations were done by teh_peril and editing was done by me. The cleaning job is really crappy, I know. But those raws are very difficult to work with.

But the bright side is that I found some tutorials to make the scanlating process a lot faster. Each chapter took about 1 hour to complete. :) This means that when the newest chapter of Umineko comes out, I'll be able to finish it in a shorter time than the previous releases.

Sorry it took so long! We didn't get the scans until about a week ago. Anyways, you'll notice that me & serenade_beta finally came up with a group name: Sea Cat Scans! Please feel free to add any feedback such as comments, critique, suggestions, questions, etc. I learned some great cleaning & editing tips so I hope that shows in this release. :)

I forgot to mention this in my last post but this project is my first time editing, typesetting and cleaning manga, so I would appreciate some feedback on how I did and how I can improve. (I know that the cleaning job on some of the pages is kinda sucky; still improving though!)
